Bruce Merivale-Austin

Bruce Merivale-Austin, as Managing Partner of DM Partners, has extensive experience in global asset securitisation, capital raising and asset manager selection.

Since the early 1990's Mr Merivale-Austin has been active in capital raising in the global fixed income market and in the creation of the early Collateralised Bond Obligation market (CBO's). On starting DM Partners in 2000 he focused the firm's activity in the development of the secondary market for CDO equity and the creation of software analytics designed to value and price 'risk' within the prepayment and optionality profile of CDO's and CDS.

From 2004-2005 he served as main board Director and head of Structuring and Institutional sales at of Eiger Capital Ltd a London based structured credit and CDO collateral manager. There he coordinated the sourcing, analysis and valuation of investments for Eiger's ABS and Structured finance portfolios and placed subordinated notes to fund the purchase of the firm's $1.2 billion Structured Investment Vehicle (SIV).

From 2006 Mr Merivale-Austin has served as main board Director of Tricadia Capital Management LLC a New York based multi stategy and CDO collateral manger. Tricadia currently manages approximately $11.2 billion in hedge funds and CDO's.

Since 2005 Mr Merivale-Austin has expanded DPM's focus into the global alternative investment market with emphasis on Fund of Funds, Asian single manager strategies and private equity.

Prior to joining DM Partners he was at Bear Stearns International Ltd for seven years, the last five of which he served as Senior Managing Director responsible for the development and distribution of structured transactions in Europe. There he helped create and market the first credit tiered structures in the perpetual, convertible, high yield and emerging markets. These techniques were later used in the development of the European CBO/CDO market and in the creation of credit barbelled principal protected vehicles used as optimisation tools to the insurance industry.

Mr. Merivale-Austin was educated at Harrow School and holds an LLB honours degree in Law. Following the successful completion of his studies at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst he was commissioned and then served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Blues and Royals regiment of the British Army.

Daman Sanders

Daman Sanders as Partner of DM Partners has extensive experience in the field of tax mitigation strategies and in the creation of International Pension plans (IPP) for leading UK investment banks.

Having joined Morgans Independent Advisors Plc (MIA) in 1990 Mr Sanders focused on promoting Enterprise Zone Trusts (EZT) and Business Expansion Schemes (BES) in tax mitigation planning and pioneered the use of International Pension Plans (IPPs) and Pre-retirement Employee Benefits Schemes (PREBS) by International banking institutions.

Mr Sanders has been responsible for establishing IPPs for a number of leading financial institutions, raising in excess of $700mm of new funds and handling over 1,500 non-UK domiciled individuals.

Since 2005 Mr Sanders has continued his work with Morgans Investment services (MIS) in establishing and managing IPPs and Single Member Trusts (SMT) for individuals who require a more sophisticated approach to pension fund management.

Since his arrival at DM Partners in 2006 he has focused on promoting alternative investment strategies to both the IPP and sophisticated investors with non-UK domiciled tax resident profiles.

Prior to 1990 Mr Sanders worked for Sucden (UK) ltd a specialist commodity trader active in soft commodities, oil and financial futures. There he advised and traded for private clients and small companies in the futures and options markets.
